A national Independent Financial Adviser (IFA) firm, is seeking a Paraplanner to join their team in supporting the IFA's in the region. As a Paraplanner, you will play a key role in providing quality sales support function through the effective use of software and following set processes and procedures. You will work closely with Financial Advisers and IFA Administrators to ensure that the highest possible standard of client service delivery is provided proactively in line with the values of the company.

The Salary for Paraplanners is £30,000 - £40,000 with an excellent Benefits package and Hybrid working practices on offer. The package includes hybrid working 3 days in the office and 2 from home.

As a Paraplanner within this customer centric IFA your responsibilities will include:

  • Review fact finds, file notes, client risk profile questionnaires, etc., as provided by the Financial Advisers to gain an understanding of the client requirements discussed and agreed.
  • Undertake necessary research and analysis, including fund research and analysis, product comparison and analysis, charges analysis, and investigation of taxation implications (IHT, CGT, LTA, CEG, etc.).
  • Compile suitability reports, detailing the recommended advice to suit the client's needs.
  • Discuss the reports with the Financial Adviser, amending as necessary.
  • Generate and submit case packs to the Tax team and Compliance team as necessary.
  • Instruct the IFA Administrator to proceed with the preparation of client packs.
  • Record, monitor, and report on progress via Intelligent Office.

 

To be considered:

  • Previous experience in a similar role in an IFA firm.
  • Good knowledge of compliance, financial products, and regulations.
