The Role
The Senior Paraplanner will work closely with financial planners and the compliance team to deliver tailored and compliant financial planning solutions. Key responsibilities include:
- Conducting research & analysis – Identifying appropriate financial planning solutions based on client needs
- Preparing reports & recommendations – Creating compliant and client-focused financial plans
- Supporting financial planners – Assisting with advice preparation and attending client meetings where required
- Ensuring compliance & accuracy – Maintaining high standards in documentation and regulatory adherence
- Cashflow Modelling – Preparing detailed cashflow models to support holistic financial planning
What’s Required?
Paraplanning experience, ideally within a small or medium-sized firm
Level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning (or equivalent)
Strong technical knowledge of pensions, investments, inheritance tax planning, and protection
Excellent communication & analytical skills – Ability to interpret complex financial data and present clear recommendations
Proficiency in financial planning software & common platform providers
